A good size country house in very good condition in a quiet location on the Pilgrims' route to Guadalupe, with excellent access 8km from the village of Casas de Don Pedro and just 1km from a large lake (Embalse de Gargáligas). There is a covered veranda leading to a good size central living room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. As the house is only used at weekends and in the summer there is no kitchen as the owners cook outdoors but it would be easy and cheap to install one either in the corner of the living room where all plumbing has been installed or in the 4th bedroom. Also although the house is wired for electricity only one solar panel is connected at the moment, but the owner (who works at the Town Hall) tells us that the line from the solar farm which feeds the village runs just behind the property and the house could be connected to mains solar power for around 1,000 euros - much cheaper than installing your own! Outside there is 2,000 sq m of garden with a swimming pool, barbecue, oven and stone dining tables. The garden has mature eucalyptus trees providing good shade, pomegranate and lemon trees.
